The production process

The natural ingredients that are used, selected and controlled, are automatically transported to the production plants in stainless steel conduits.

The crème fillings are mixed and then refined until a velvety texture is achieved. They are then placed into a basin to define and further develop their fragrance.

Meanwhile, light, crispy wafers are cooked in an automatic oven. The crème is automatically spread over them until the characteristic layer structure is formed.

Automatic product compliance controls are carried out, followed by cooling and packaging in all the various formats comprising the Gastone Lago wafer range.
